Grand jury announces 43 indictments

The July Superior Court Grand Jury indicted 43 people Monday at the Screven County Courthouse.
The grand jury no-billed Robert Reno on a felony charge of animal cruelty and then indicted Reno on a lesser misdemeanor charge of animal cruelty.
Reno is accused of intentionally driving his truck over neighborhood geese in Sylvan Heights in June.
Jimmy Lee Price was indicted on counts of rape; aggravated sodomy; and aggravated child molestation from an arrest made by the Screven County Sheriff’s Office in June.
Other indictments decreed by the grand jury were --
* Tracy Anton Albany – purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution, or sale of marijuana.
* Ray Lacount Allen, Jr. – purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution, or sale of a controlled substance; misdemeanor possession of marijuana; possession of a drug related object.
* Corey Anderson – purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution, or sale of marijuana; possession of a drug related object; criminal trespass.
* Devaughn Bryant – statutory rape.
* Robert Dale Boyles – theft by taking; possession of anhydrous ammonia.
* Mandy Lee Cartrette – theft by extortion.
* Jeliesa Latrelle Clark – armed robbery; four counts of aggravated assault.
* Timothy Levon Coleman, Jr. – aggravated assault; possession of a firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies; discharge of firearms on property of another; discharge of firearms on or near public highway or street.
* Cornelius Mario Cook – burglary (first degree); criminal damage to property (second degree); terroristic threats and acts.
* Traci Ann Copeland – theft by extortion.
* Lavar Tirie Delee – burglary (second degree); three counts of theft by taking.
* William Michael Evans – failure to register as a sex offender/failure to comply with requirements/provided false information.
* Ralph Wiley Futch – burglary (second degree); theft by taking.
* Dewan Demetrius Gaines – aggravated assault; aggravated battery; possession of a firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies.
* Yasmeen Chavontae Gibbons – theft by taking; theft by shoplifting.
* Alfred Titus Jaudon – theft by taking.
* Clark Sinclair Kirkland – armed robbery; three counts of aggravated assault; possession of a firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies.
* Larry Gene Leeks – two counts of cruelty to children.
* Seymour Jezotal Mack – failure to register as a sex offender/failure to comply with requirements/provided false information.
* Kathleen McLeroy – two counts of theft by taking.
* Alasanti Charles Mincey – burglary (second degree); interference with government property; criminal trespass.
* Erica Samone Oglesby – hindering apprehension or punishment of a criminal.
* Lashara Oliver – forgery (second degree); giving false name, address, or birthdate to law enforcement officer; driving without a license; no tag on vehicle; improper passing on right; no proof of insurance.
* Ronnie Willie Oliver – unlawful for any person to purchase, possess, or have under his control any controlled substance.
* Hull Lee Patterson – violation of Georgia employment security law.
* Jessica Lorin Pierce – unlawful for any person to purchase, possess, or have under his control any controlled substance.
* Derek Steven Pitts – unlawful for any person to purchase, possess, or have under his control any controlled substance; willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.
* Anthony Malik Randall – burglary (first degree).
* Brandon Marion Reason – two counts of aggravated assault; fleeing or evading police roadblock; driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol; driving while license suspended or revoked; reckless driving; open container violation; ran stop sign.
* Duke Lavelle Roberts – armed robbery; aggravated assault.
* Carlos Anthony Sanders – burglary (second degree); interference with government property; criminal trespass.
* Denny Albert Scott – theft by taking.
* Herman Lee Scott – violation of Georgia employment security law.
* Joseph Benjamin Sheppard – fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer for a felony offense; driving while license suspended or revoked.
* Dustin Lonnie Suggs – burglary (first degree); possession of marijuana; receipt, possession or transfer of firearm by convicted felon or felony first offender.
* Lirhonda Venessa Taylor – false statements in writings/conceal facts or fraudulent documents in matters of government; willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.
* Kemel Marquis Thomas – theft by taking.
* David Michael Torrence – theft by taking; purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution, or sale of marijuana; driving while under the influence of drugs/alcohol; driving while license suspended or revoked; knowingly driving motor vehicle on suspended, canceled, or revoked registration.
* Wesley Wadley – burglary (second degree); interference with government property; criminal trespass.
