143 years of service to Syl-View

Four ladies: combined 143 years at one job.
And loving it and loving the people they work with on a daily basis.
Veteran employees of Syl-View were honored Aug. 22 with a “Tree of Life” anniversary celebration.
The theme was “Walking By Faith” and these ladies are testaments to that.
Marsha Roberts has 40 years at Syl-View. Jackie Kilcrease has 38 years. Rhonda Carter has 33 years and Betty Scarborough has 32 years.
“I want to thank all of you for your hard work, dedication and compassion,” said Rachel Eggleston, the Syl-View administrator.
Eggleston said without love in their hearts the four ladies could not have achieved such a service record.
“One hundred forty-three years is loyalty to Syl-View and real loyalty to your Creator,” Eggleston said.
“These are four beautiful women,” said Cheryl Roberts. “I admire the work you have done and continue to do.
Belinda Price with the state health care association awarded Scarborough for serving for years as an activity trainer.
“Mrs. Betty only knows how to do 150 percent,” Price said.
Margie Bryant recently retired after 36 years. She worked closely with these ladies.
“It has been a pleasure working with all of them,” Bryant said. “Forty years is a long time. You have to be a very compassionate person to reach 40 years.”
