Father keeps boys at gunpoint praying after catching them sneaking in to see his daughters
A Screven County father who found two young men hiding in the bathroom of his house held them at gunpoint and made them pray aloud until deputies arrived and arrested them for criminal trespass.
The youths were invited to the house on Rifle Road by the man’s two daughters, ages 14 and 17, Screven County Sheriff Mike Kile said. “Daddy held them at gunpoint and told them to pray and they did,” Kile said. “He told them to pray louder and they did.”
Charged on Jan. 12 were: Larnell Andre Gholson, 19, of Fox Hunters Road, and Jeremy L. Wiles, 20, of Poor Robin Road.
The young men said they didn’t know one of the girls was underage but they did know they should have gotten the father’s permission to be in the residence.
Kile said he was glad no one was hurt. “He was trying to protect the girls,” Kile said. “It worked very, very well.”
The sheriff said the girls ran the water in the shower, trying to make their father think nothing was awry. But the ploy didn’t work. “He knew they didn’t take showers that long,” he said.
The lesson learned? “Don’t bring boys over without your Daddy knowing,” Kile said. “Daddies can come home early and can get really mad when their daughters’ honor is at stake.”

Should have known better!
I don't have any daughters but i do have a sister and i could see why the father reacted the way he did. People need to realize that this is the year 2010 and guns in the home is a coomon thing. Alot of people are quick to grab the gun any chance they can get. So like the author said, the lesson to be learned from this story is to never sneak into a girls house, especially if you've never met her parents.
